Use this sequence when an IT consultant, system administrator, or business owner needs to connect local business data to a secure mobile dashboard.

Standard Deployment and Onboarding Sequence

Create a trial company and admin user for the customer or proof of concept.
Download the company launcher and BusinessInsight Agent package.
Place the Agent on a Windows machine that can reach the local database or approved API.
Configure the database connection using a low-privilege account where possible.
Create the first role, dashboard, and widgets using approved query templates.
Start the Agent and verify it appears online in the admin console.
Sign in from mobile and compare dashboard numbers with trusted local reports.
Document the data owner, query owner, refresh expectations, and support path.
Expand into additional roles, alerts, and controlled writeback workflows only after validation.

Security Notes for Local Database Deployments

The local Agent should run near the database and initiate outbound communication. Avoid public database exposure, use read-only accounts for reporting dashboards, and keep writeback workflows restricted to reviewed operations.
